Air impact wrench grease, # IR/115-1LB, protects your air impact, with a composite housing, from damage while ensuring its peak performance. Proper maintenance of your air impact ensures maximum performance while helping prevent costly downtime and repairs. A 1lb can that can be easily applied using a grease gun #IR/R000A2-228.
Most Ingersoll Rand impact wrenches, 1" drive or smaller, will have a flush type grease fitting where you can insert the grease gun and add grease lubricant. This is usually recommended to be done every 48 hours of use. You should also have the tool disassembled, cleaned, greased, and put back together periodically to ensure peak performance and help extend the life of the tool.
