Chipping Hammer Carbide Bushing Tool 10" length - Hex Shank / Oval Collar - BL/L17G00
Made in the U.S.A.
This Brunner and Lay Carbide Bushing Tool, with 10 inches overall length, is designed to fit a pneumatic chipping hammer with a hex shank (.580") and oval collar. If you are purchasing this style tool (or already have one), then this style carbide bushing tool is made to fit your tool. Bushing tools are used to level or roughen concrete uneven floors or walls prior to re-finishing.
To get the best results, hold your chipping hammer perpendicular to the concrete surface and ensure the bushing tool is flush on the surface of the concrete. Once you have it flush with some pressure pressing on the surface where the bushing tool meet the concrete, you can then press the trigger to run the tool. (Never run your air tool without having your bit, or bushing tool in this case, without having it pressed against the surface which you are working - called dry firing - as it can damage your tool and can be a safety concern). The bushing tool will begin dancing on the concrete surface. It is important to keep the tool perpendicular at all times while performing this task to maximize your tools performance and get the result you desire. These suggestions are only a guide and should not supersede the manufacturers and/or your companies safety guidelines.
