Ingersoll Rand Chipping Hammer Hex Shank Oval Collar - 2DA1SA - 2-inch stroke

Ingersoll Rand Construction Duty (D-Series) 4 Bolt Air Chipping Hammer model 2DA1SA is designed for chipping, cutting, chiseling and breaking hardened materials like concrete, brick, and metal.  This rugged tool features the best power to weight in its class for increased job site productivity. In addition, this unit features a convenient "D" shaped handle and outside trigger, along with a strong four bolt backhead for easy serviceability.  The 2 inch stroke makes this a shorter length tool which slightly reduces the power of the blows compared to the 3" and 4" stroke model.  However, if your job is in a tight space or your application doesn't need the heavier blows, this tool may be just what you need.  This tool has the hex shank which means your bit will not rotate in the tool.  You will use bits that are designed for the hex bushing and oval collar retainer in this style tool.  The bit will remain in the same exact position you place it in the tool.
