Chipping Hammer Steel Bit Points for Round Shank / Oval Collar

We proudly offer Brunner and Lay steel bit points that are available in 9, 12, and 18 inches overall length.  They are most commonly used in light concrete demolition work.  These model points are designed to fit a pneumatic chipping hammer with a round shank (.680") and oval collar.  If you are purchasing this style tool (or already have one), then this style point is made to fit your tool.  Chipping Hammer models that come with a round shank / oval collar allow your bit to rotate or turn in the tool while you are pressed against your work.  This allows your bit to move freely and accommodate the surface you are working on such as a curved surface or rock.  Even though this function is not applicable with a point, you can still use this style hammer for light concrete demolition with this type steel bit. 

Chipping Hammer Steel Bit Points are designed for use on pneumatic tools designed with a retainer collar for safety.  These Brunner & Lay shanks conform to the U.S. Navy specifications for round or hex shanks.
